The "2nd. Night of Literary Exchange between Korea and the Hispanic World" took place in September 25 at Dankook University.

The event was organized by the Institute of Asian Studies and Latin from Dankook University and Daesan Foundation, a private institution dedicated to promoting Korean and international literature.

On this occasion, the activity was dedicated to honor two great Laint American writers: Julio Cortazar  and Octavio Paz.
Our Embassy was specially invited to present to the audience an overview of the life and work of Julio Cortazar to mark the centenary of his birth.

Throughout the event, the Argentine Ambassador made an introduction to the Argentine writer and proceeded to read a few short stories from his literary production.

I was an ideal opportunity to bring the Argentine literature to the local audience.
