On April 23, 2015 the Embassy of Argentina in Seoul held the "Malbec World Day 2015" with a professional wine tasting at the Hotel JW Marriott Seoul Dongdaemun.
Twelve Korean importers representing fifteen Argentine wineries were invited to present their wines to the attendees.
Over  200 people attended the event, mostly wine experts, sommeliers and journalists along with a group of major customers of local companies.
Ambassador Jorge Roballo welcomed the guests and Mr. Choi Hoon, President of the specialized magazine "Wine Review", offered a detailed explanation of the characteristics of Malbec.
New business opportunities were generated.
The attendees agreed on the excellence of Argentine wines and valued its position in the local market as a wine of "high quality".
